Its’ finally happening as Mr Crackles Melbourne announces Late Night Crackles for Melbourne
Sydney’s late night Institution to Crispy Pork and crackling has opened in Melbourne at 164 Bourke Street in the City. A cult favourite, Mr Crackles is a celebration of crackling perfection and porky goodness and has diners travelling from all over just to eat at Mr Crackles.
Mr Crackles is Sam Horowitz and Carlos Justo who met working at The Wharf in Sydney and their restaurant has been an Oxford street hit since it opened 5 years ago. Mr Crackles Melbourne is an airier lighter affair with glass frontage but retains its takeaway food philosophy that Sydney is famous for.
Sharing the same menu as Sydney’s. Mr Crackle brings their Crackles Classic – a roll packed with crispy slow-roasted five-spice pork belly with Vietnamese salad. Also on the menu, their classic Char Siew Rolls ladened with asian styled sweet pork. Most notoriously, Mr Crackles Bogan (available in both rolls and salads) is a loaded affair with pork belly, chips, gravy and cheese. Mr Crackles does a monthly special roll and we’ve been told to expect something special for Melbourne.
No mistaking Flinders Street Station a Melbourne icon in the image there.
Now having opened at 164 Bourke Street Melbourne for 3 weeks, Mr Crackles in Melbourne will finally be kicking off their Late Night Eats opening til 3am every Friday and Saturday Night. Sydneysiders can expect Late night Mr Crackles til 4.30am at their OG store.
