Top 10 Games for the Nintendo Switch

As exciting as the Nintendo Switch is, the most important part of any Console is the games library and Nintendo is giving Switch the kickstart that it needs with Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wind incoming as a launch title. But that’s not all as the platform will be home to a bevvy of great games. Here’s our look at the TOP 10 Games coming out for the Nintendo Switch

Super Mario Odyssey: Returning to its sandbox roots. Super Mario Odyssey allows Mario to fully explore his world ala Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine. The exciting thing about Odyssey  is that Mario jumps out of the Mushroom Kingdom travels to what seeming looks like the real world. Odyssey also features the ability to throw Mario’s cap. ETA: 2017 holiday season.


Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: Anywhere, anytime with up to eight friends in local wireless multiplayer. This deluxe version of Mario Kart 8 features plenty of classic tracks and characters. The game also features new characters like Inkling Girl and Inkling Boy from Splatoon, as well as King Boo, Dry Bones and Bowser Jr.! With a revamped battle mode to include Balloon Battle and Bob-omb Blast. Mario Kart 8 play in TV mode in up to 1080p. ETA April 2017


Bomberman Switch. With the Switch’s Multiplayer focus, no surprises than that Bomberman would be a good fit for the new console. Featuring a single player story mode as well as battle modes, Bomberman takes the franchises classic manic bombing gameplay and takes it into the 3rd dimension with manic and co-operative multiplayer fun. Skyrim- Nintendo Switch

Skyrim Switch Edition comes as Bethesda brings their sprawling open world Western RPG to the Switch. Play as various classes and undertake an Epic Fantasy adventure that takes you through a world of fantasy combat and Magic. Taking out vampires on the go? FTW. ETA unknown


Xenoblade Chronicles 2. One of the biggest JRPG on the Nintendo wiiU returns with what looks like an equally epic JRPG world with vast vistas, hulking beasts and combat. One of the wiiU’s best game is set to return bigger and better on the switch console. Take to the skies or run through epic ruins and forests. ETA 2017SQUARE-ENIX-JRPG

Project Octopath Traveller. Details are scare on this one but SquareEnix are the masters of the JRPG format and they’re bringing a curiously named 2D/3D pixelart JRPG to the Nintendo Switch. From the team behind the smash titles Bravely Default, we expect nothing less than epic turnbased JRPG goodness. ETA unknown


Shin Megami Tensei Switch. It’s looking like the Switch will be a returning to plenty of Japanese Role Playing Game with Atlus bring a new title to the Switch. With a slick looking CGI trailer showcasing the enemies and prefaced by their use of UNREAL Engine 4. We expect this new title from ATLUS will be a highly enjoyable romp that will look amazing. Splatoon 2: The multi-player mayhem of Splatoon returns in its colourful sequel. With Traditional 4-on-4 turf battles returning alongside new stages, new fashions and new weapons such as the two-handed Splat Dualies. Players can compete on the TV or on the go. ETA June 2017


ARMS: Utilising the full motion features of the Joy-Con Controllers, ARMS is a  a unique multiplayer fighting sport that lets players trade blows using extendable arms, this game includes elements of both boxing and shooting games, plus a new cast of characters. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: The biggest Legend of Zelda adventure returns with players again taking on the role of Link as he explores a world of unprecedented size and discover more than 100 puzzle-filled Shrines of Trials. play this on the go. Promising an epic adventure with Amiibo integration. This is the biggest and best game on the Nintendo Switch. ETA Launch title
